The Map!

We have an updated map of events here at Indie Film Con. The green stars indicate parking options. The IU Cinema is circled toward the center of the map. The panels and workshops are labeled just to the west of the Cinema. Our food trucks will park outside the Cinema.

See you this weekend!

For those of you new to Bloomington, the address of the IU Cinema is:
1213 E. 7th Street
Bloomington, Indiana 47405

From there you should be able to find parking at the green stars on this map.

Extended submissions is now closed

Time has run out on accepting additional film submissions. Our extended deadline must now draw to a close and we thank everyone that was able to squeak in after our original deadline.

We would like nothing more than to keep accepting your awesome films, but sadly we just don't have the time to review and process all of them before loading into the IU Cinema and testing.

Indie Film Con schedule update

Hello Filmmakers (again)! We're going through the submissions and presenters and it looks like we're going to have a slightly shorter Indie Film Con this year; it seems that everyone sent in all of their films LAST year and didn't save much to send in THIS year.

So, we're distilling the con down to two action packed days of filmmaking fun. So, if you've made plans to join us Friday night, well that may just be a party somewhere other than the IU Cinema. We're starting Indie Film Con properly on Saturday morning with workshops and panels (to be announced soon).

Now I know that some of you are thinking that we could just keep on accepting submissions right up until the event starts. Unfortunately (or fortunately) planning and preparation of the screenings is a wee bit more complicated than showing up 5 minutes before your screening with a DVD. So while we'd love to screen everything that is submitted, we need time to prepare the media and get the media to the Cinema for ingestion and programming for the screenings.
